Risk Warning

Trading cryptocurrencies, equities, derivatives, and other financial instruments carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. You could lose some or all of your invested capital. You should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. Before using Trade OS, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite.

1

No Investment Advice

Trade OS is a technology platform that provides analytical tools and information for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on the Platform constitutes:

  • Investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice
  • A recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument
  • An endorsement of any particular trading strategy, asset, or market
  • A guarantee or prediction of future market performance or returns
  • A substitute for consultation with a qualified financial advisor, broker, or tax professional

Trade OS Inc. is not a registered broker-dealer, investment advisor, or financial planner. We do not hold any securities licenses or financial services authorizations. We provide software tools; all trading decisions are yours alone.

2

AI Signal Limitations

Trade OS uses artificial intelligence and machine learning models to generate trading signals, pattern recognition, and market analysis. You must understand the following limitations:

  • AI models are not infallible: They are trained on historical data and statistical patterns. Market conditions change, and models can produce inaccurate, misleading, or poorly timed signals.
  • No predictive guarantee: AI signals represent probabilistic analysis, not certainty. Markets are influenced by factors that no model can fully capture, including geopolitical events, regulatory changes, and market manipulation.
  • Model drift and degradation: AI model performance may deteriorate over time as market regimes shift. Past signal accuracy does not guarantee future signal accuracy.
  • Data dependency: Signal quality depends on the accuracy and timeliness of underlying market data. Data feed interruptions, exchange API delays, or stale data can lead to unreliable signals.
  • Black swan events: AI models cannot reliably predict rare, extreme market events (flash crashes, exchange hacks, regulatory bans, liquidity crises). During such events, signals should be disregarded entirely.
3

Backtesting & Past Performance

PAST PERFORMANCE IS NOT INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS. HYPOTHETICAL BACKTESTING RESULTS HAVE INHERENT LIMITATIONS.

The backtesting engine provided by Trade OS simulates how a strategy would have performed using historical data. Backtesting results are hypothetical and subject to significant limitations:

  • Survivorship bias: Historical data may not include delisted assets, failed projects, or exchanges that no longer exist.
  • Look-ahead bias: While we implement safeguards, the design of a strategy after observing historical data inherently carries bias.
  • Slippage and execution: Backtests assume idealized order execution. Real-world trading involves slippage, partial fills, latency, and liquidity constraints that degrade performance.
  • Market impact: Backtests do not account for the market impact of your orders. Strategies that perform well in simulation may move markets unfavorably at scale.
  • Fee estimation: Historical exchange fee structures may differ from current fees, affecting the accuracy of net returns shown in backtests.
  • Overfitting: Optimizing a strategy to perform well on historical data (curve fitting) often produces strategies that fail in live markets.
4

No Guarantee of Returns

Trade OS makes no representations or warranties regarding the profitability of any trading strategy, signal, or approach used on the Platform. Specifically:

  • No returns, profits, or income are guaranteed or implied by using Trade OS
  • Any performance figures shown on the Platform (including backtests, demo accounts, or example strategies) are for illustrative purposes only
  • Trading results vary significantly based on market conditions, capital, timing, risk management, and individual execution
  • You may lose some or all of your invested capital, regardless of the strategies or tools employed
  • Leverage and margin trading amplify both gains and losses; you may lose more than your initial deposit
5

Your Responsibility

By using Trade OS, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for:

  • All trading decisions made using the Platform, including those based on AI signals or automated strategies
  • Conducting your own research and due diligence before executing any trade
  • Setting and maintaining appropriate risk management parameters (stop-losses, position sizes, portfolio allocation limits)
  • Monitoring automated strategies and intervening when necessary
  • Understanding the specific risks of the assets and markets you trade
  • Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and tax obligations in your jurisdiction
  • Consulting qualified financial, legal, and tax professionals as needed
  • Ensuring exchange API keys are properly configured with appropriate permissions
6

Exchange API & Connectivity Risks

Trade OS connects to third-party cryptocurrency and financial exchanges via their APIs. You should be aware of the following risks:

  • Exchange reliability: Exchanges may experience downtime, degraded performance, or API outages without notice. Orders may fail, be delayed, or execute at unexpected prices.
  • API changes: Exchanges may modify their APIs without warning, potentially disrupting order execution, data synchronization, or strategy operation.
  • Exchange insolvency: Trade OS is not responsible for the solvency, security, or operational integrity of any connected exchange. Your funds on exchanges are at the exchange's risk, not ours.
  • Network latency: Internet connectivity issues, server latency, or routing problems may cause delays in order transmission and execution.
  • Rate limiting: Exchanges impose rate limits that may prevent or delay order execution during periods of high activity.
7

Market Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and timely market data, Trade OS does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed on the Platform. Market data is sourced from third-party exchanges and data providers and may be:

  • Delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable
  • Subject to errors from upstream data providers or exchange feeds
  • Different from prices available at the time of order execution
  • Affected by exchange-specific pricing anomalies (e.g., thin order books, wash trading on unregulated venues)

You should always verify market data and pricing directly on your exchange before making trading decisions. Do not rely solely on Trade OS data for time-sensitive or high-value trades.

8

Regulatory Notice

Trade OS is a software platform, not a regulated financial institution. The availability and legality of trading certain instruments varies by jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform and your trading activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

Trade OS does not provide services in jurisdictions where doing so would violate applicable law. Access to the Platform does not constitute an offer or solicitation in any jurisdiction where such offers or solicitations are prohibited.
